All New - The Triple Edge Handicapping System V5.08
All New as of October, 2025, The Triple Edge Handicapping System. This computer handicapping program, like most of my other programs, runs with the Brisnet single data file. These files can be purchased from www.brisnet.com at this link https://www.brisnet.com/product/data-filesThe Triple Edge Handicapping System combines Speed, Class, and Form. The ratings are Average Speed, Quirin Speed Points, Current Form Rating, Field Strength Speed, and Speed Class Contenders. There are also system picks, Route and Sprint Close Up.Asterisks** or * - Longshot Contenders. The asterisks are assigned to Average Speed contenders that fit at least one of four of my proprietary longshot ratings such as ESR, Form, Race Distance, and Fraction.CFR - I've wanted to create something like a "Current Form Rating" for some time. I included a "Form" rating in Formula Pro, but that was more of a longshot form rating. CFR incorporates various aspects including - consistency, pace, recency, par times. It gives you a very good look at current form in a single number.FSS - For Field Strength Speed, I wanted to build on a simple class rating. FSS is designed to show the strength of the fields that each horse has been racing against. I created a mathematical formula combining speed, class, and par times.SCC - This rating is Speed/Class Contenders. When you first open a race, it will default to the highest ranked SCC horse. This rating is a compilation of Average Speed, Field Strength Speed, and the Longshot Asterisks. To use the system, you simply download the track you want to handicap from Brisnet (single data file), extract the drf file, and click on the Open A Data File button. You select the track from the list and you get the ratings. This is a screen view system only. The system comes with detailed instructions and a PDF handicapping book called The Triple Edge System.Belmont at Aqueduct 9th race, September 19, 2025. AVERAGE SPEED |
